  • ICARUS in the April 2017 issue of the European Aeronautics Science Network Newsletter

    The European Aeronautics Science Network publishes on a regular basis a newsletter which is distributed to several thousands of researchers and scientists throughout Europe. Aiming to familiarize people with the ICARUS project, its concept, main objectives and latest progress, an ICARUS-related publication has been included in the second EASN Newsletter for 2017.

  • ICARUS M6 Progress Meeting, In Miscolc, Hungary, March 29-30, 2017

    The ICARUS Consortium successfully conducted a six month progress meeting between March 29 and 30, 2017 at the premises of the University of Miscolc, in Hungary. The meeting was attended by representatives of the ICARUS Consortium and it was chaired by the project coordinator Santiago Cuesta-Lopez.

    The aim of this ICARUS 6M meeting was to allow the consortium partners to discuss thoroughly on the activities realized during the first six months of the ICARUS lifetime and to also elaborate on the planned actions for the following semester. During the meeting, the partners developed a discussion on actions regarding the ICARUS and SUPERMAT Spring School which will take place between May 15th and May 17th, 2017 at Chia Laguna Resort, in Sardinia, Italy. This important event is expected to be a fruitful experience for students and young generations who will be specifically trained on the cutting edge science and technology intrinsic to the ICARUS and SUPERMAT projects.

  • ICARUS-Supermat Spring School

    The ICARUS and SUPERMAT Consortiums will be pleased to welcome young researchers and students to attend the International Spring School on Forefront Alloys and Advanced Materials for Extreme Conditions from 15th to 17th May 2017, at Chia Laguna Resort, in Sardinia, Italy.

    This fruitful event will provide a great opportunity for students and young researchers to be specifically trained on the cutting edge science and technology intrinsic to the ICARUS and SUPERMAT projects.

  • M6 Progress Meeting

    Following the finalization of the project’s first semester, the ICARUS partners are planning a face-to-face meeting in order to discuss ongoing progress and next actions. The meeting which is scheduled to take place in March 29th-30th will be hosted by our Hungarian partners, at the premises of the University of Miskolc (UniMi) and all partners are scheduled to attend.

  • ICARUS at the H-SPACE Conference

    We are glad to announce that the ICARUS project will participate in the 3rd International Conference on Research, Technology and Education of Space (H-SPACE 2017)  which will be held from 9 to 10 of February 2017, in Budapest, Hungary. This year's topic will be "Integrated Space Systems, missions and concepts". The ICARUS project will be represented by our Hungarian partners, we are looking forward to seeing you there.



    We would like to inform you that ICARUS will be participating at the second edition of the Excellence Square of Nanotechnologies and New Materials, which will take place in Parma, Italy, on 23-25/03/2017, within the activities of Mecspe 2017.  We are looking forward to seeing you at our exhibition booth!
